Somehow, over the years, I managed to accumulate a bunch of felt tip marker pens. Then one day I got the idea to dabble with them on some sheets of art paper. In no time at all I was swept away with putting words into color with these pens. Most were done in 1988 with a few being done later on.
When I scanned the drawings for this publication, I discovered the marker colors had faded somewhat from being in storage. So I started experimenting with Adobe Photoshop Elements to enhance them. While doing that, I became intrigued with the seemingly endless possibilities of this particular software, and its abilities to do quite extraordinary things with original images.
What came to be, and what is being presented in this collection, is a result of that progression, where an innocent diversion evolved into the following digital art pieces dubbed …
