Back in the '70s' I authored three booklets. They were called Sayings of the Week (SOTW), Sayings of the Week, #2 (Volume II) and Sayings of the Week, Volume III.

They contained writings which were exhibited in the Copy Center at Oklahoma Baptist University, Shawnee, Oklahoma, USA. It was an activity I started in the fall semester of 1974 and ended in April 1978.

The first SOTW contained a mixture of sayings, remembrances and soul-searching reflections. Volume II and III however, became more focused on sayings and less of the other. Much time has passed since then.

Recently, I became interested in starting up the activity of publishing new writings. I would have liked to continue using the SOTW title, but noticed in my search of the Internet that other persons have also used that name, Thus, I decided on a new title.

As providence would have it, the title, Inner Stirrings, actually provided me with a greater freedom to express myself in the spirit of the original Sayings of the Week. Something I wholeheartedly embraced.

It's good to be back doing this type activity. A real friend that I can now share as I had once envisioned in 1975, little realizing at that time the venue would be via cyberspace.
