I have been collecting numerous short writings over the years never really knowing what to do with them. Finally, in the middle of 2009, it came to me to just put them, and all new ones that materialize, in a collection and be done with hanging on to them.

But in what format was the question that remained, and what to call it. After googling the words collection and kollection, those words were simply out the question for a main title. So Kamlections was born and proving once again to me, what could be more appropriate than using my own initials preceding "lections". Even neater, Google shows no hits for such a word as of writing this introduction.

I certainly don't claim that anyone will be bowled over by the writings in this collection, but perhaps, if I'm lucky, there might be one or two that will cause remarks such as, "Gee, I like that.", "What in the world was he thinking?" and possibly, "Wow, that is really deep."
